Mirroring what a lot of the previous reviews state. Concierge/front desk are amazing and easy to work with. Amenities are great and the building is beautiful.
Maintenance/management team is terrible. On move-in the shower head was broken, the washer/dryer unit was broken, the tablet; which controls the HVAC in the unit was locked by the previous tenant. All of these issues should have been flagged by the building management/maintenance team prior to move-in.
It took 3 weeks to even get the... maintenance team to respond. Finally the appliance tech arrived, upon arrival he was aware the washer/dryer unit had issues; which begs the question why it wasn't addressed prior to move-in. The appliance technician was complaining that the building was trying to run the appliances off the incorrect voltage outlet. Which is either dangerous or makes the appliances non-functional. He "fixed" the issue but the washer throws error codes and cannot run a proper cycle because they are attempting to run it off the incorrect voltage. The Dryer doesn't dry and the other items still have not been resolved. Immediately after I realized there was still an issue with the washer/dryer I told the concierge and did not hear back from the maintenance team.
Regarding orientation. The building manager Bret mentioned a new orientation process; however, that doesn't matter when the building staff do not show up to the orientation. They ask you to schedule on the rent cafe app, which I did, and no one from the building decided to show up. That mirrors the maintenance requests. You submit a request on the app and it appears to go into the ether and you never hear back unless you complain to the building staff.
He also mentions a new package process to notify residents when packages arrive. As far as I can tell that has not been implemented as there is no notification process despite claims it had been.
Unfortunately I just started my lease so it appears I will be in for at least another 11 months of this.

Avoid!

Avoid! Many issues and unresponsive building management. Had to deal with smelling marijuana inside my apartment for over a month, now dealing with a broken AC for over two weeks getting up to almost 90 in my apartment. The worst part is management isn’t on top of fixing it, I’m constantly having to reach out and complain again, ask what is being done, etc. Finally, there is no building security, people who don’t live in the building are constantly on the roof. Pay way too much to have to deal... with all of this.

Best, Best, Best Apartment Building

I made the move to Philly a few years ago and been bouncing around from neighborhood and apartments during that time. Once I toured the Atlantic I knew this is where I wanted to be. This place sets the bar in Philly and really distinguishes themselves from the apartment design and the amenities offered, not to mention the perfect downtown location. I absolutely love it here!
