My husband and I moved into a 2 BR 1 Ba unit in July of 2024 thinking it would be a temporary place while we looked for a condo to buy in the area...we just renewed the lease for another 15 months! We love it here. My in-laws stay with us off and on and do not speak English and the staff have been amazing with them, super friendly and always available to answers questions or offer assistance. We have a view of the park and can't find a condo in the area with the same view or family atmosphere. We may never leave!

I wish I would have taken the negative reviews more seriously before moving into this building. The building is very old, which comes with a ton of unexpected issues. You have no control over if the heat or AC is on, so if the building switches to heat, your apartment can be over 80 degrees for months even with the thermostat off, windows open, and fans going. If there is construction next to your unit and you work from home, good luck. They will not give you any warning when the loud drilling will occur. My water gets turned off randomly without notice. I rarely ever write reviews, but I am making sure that I tell everyone to look elsewhere when renting. The price is outrageous for all of the cons of this building.

You won't want to live anywhere else!
Moving in to the Rittenhouse Claridge, I knew I would be well taken care of. So many people I had spoken to had either lived there or known people that lived there, and everyone loved it! After basically seeing every unit they had to offer, I fell in love with my now home, a studio, perfect for me. After 6 weeks (they renovated the apartment prior to my move), I moved in and immediately felt like this was home, something that I had been searching for after a failed attempt in NYC. The maintenance staff, office staff, and doormen/desk attendants are the nicest and do their jobs with the utmost of professionalism. They make you feel safe, happy, and a part of a wonderful community. Whenever there is an issue, it gets taken care of practically immediately. Now with a newly renovated lounge and fitness center, you really have no reason to look at any of building. You have everything you could need here and if they don't have it, they are extremely open to suggestions and plan to keep the Rittenhouse Claridge the place to live in Philadelphia! Come join our wonderful home!
