LARGE ROOM FOR RENT IN HISTORIC OVERBROOK FARMS VICTORIAN HOME
Historic & Charming Overbrook Farms Victorian Home has a room available. If you are looking for a place that feels more like home than a sterile apartment complex, you will love the... feel of this grand home. The home is set on a ½ acre lot with tall shade trees and lush old growth gardens. This room is on the 3rd floor with 2 gentlemen homeowners living on the first two floors. Refinished original hardwood floors are throughout the bedrooms and hallway. The north facing bedroom is a large furnished bedroom (14' x 16') with three large windows and air conditioning and ceiling fan. This room is across the hall from a full-bathroom. Down the hall from the bedroom is the private eat-in kitchen which is bright and spacious with a great view of the yard and trees. Basic kitchen supplies are included along with refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The bedroom is fully furnished but will allow approved, manageable pieces of your own. A relaxing sitting area is also available at the top of the grand staircase to let you unwind from your day. The bathroom and kitchen are shared with one other tenant also renting a room on the third floor. Laundry available in the basement. Home has a security system.

Rent is $675 per month and includes all utilities (electric, gas, water & WiFi). One month's security deposit due with first month's rent. Rental application provided at room showing. Owners perform credit and reference check prior to acceptance.

Home is a short two block walk to St Joseph's University and is in close proximity to Lankenau Hospital. The home is easily accessible to public transportation. The regional rail station is a short 9-minute walk to easily access downtown Philadelphia or the Mainline. Multiple bus lines are a block away. Merion Botanical Public park is a 10-minute walk from home. Ample street parking is available.

Looking for professionals, graduate level students, or mature undergraduate level students that prefer a clean, quiet home. This non-smoking home has one cat so no further pets are permitted.
