Overbrook Farms is a historical neighborhood close to St Joseph's University and within 20 minutes' drive of center city Philadelphia. It is less than two blocks walk to the Overbrook train station on the R5 main line. From the... station it is fifteen minutes to 30th street station.. Going west on the R5 line are universities, shopping, and restaurants within easy access from R5 train stations.
Compared to equivalent apartments around center city or up the mainline, you will get a less expensive but more spacious home with off-street parking in a sylvan neighborhood. It is a charming old house with renovations but original hardwood floors. Heat pumps for each apartment make the house feel modern. The wrap around verandah is useful for parties or relaxing on a balmy evening. The landlord lives on site so it is maintained well.
Suitable for a couple and baby. Looking for long term tenants but a one-year lease will be ok. There will be a background check. Income should exceed 3 x rent.
